Epson is passionate about deriving innovative, valuable and actionable insights from an ever-growing tangled web of raw healthcare data. He joined Somatus to lead the development of clinical algorithms and predictive models with the goal of operationalizing this knowledge to directly improve the lives of CKD and ESKD patients. He is responsible for content and strategy around quality, clinical intelligence and risk stratification.
Prior to joining Somatus, Epson served for 6 years as Managing Director of the Clinical Informatics team at Evolent Health, building and operationalizing clinical rules algorithms for enterprise-wide use to support value-based care and quality improvement. Epson graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and attended medical school at the University of Maryland.
